Second Edition of UAE-Qatar Super Cup Kicks Off with Four Tournaments
The organizing committee for the UAE-Qatar Super Cup has launched its second edition, featuring four tournaments with eight teams—four from the UAE and four from Qatar.
The first event, the Challenge Shield, will be held on January 16, 2025, in Doha at Ahmad Bin Ali Stadium, with Shabab Al Ahli, runner-up in the ADNOC Pro League, playing against Al Rayyan, runner-up in Qatar’s Ooredoo Stars League.
The second tournament, the Super Cup, will take place on January 17, 2025, in Dubai at Al Maktoum Stadium, with Al Nasr, UAE President’s Cup runner-up, competing against Qatar SC, Amir Cup runner-up.
The third event, the Super Shield, will see Al Wasl, champions of the ADNOC Pro League, face Al Sadd, champions of Qatar’s Ooredoo Stars League, on January 18, 2025, in Doha at Jassim Bin Hamad Stadium.
The final event, the Challenge Cup, will take place on January 19, 2025, in Abu Dhabi at Al Nahyan Stadium, featuring Al Wahda, ADIB Cup champions, against Al Wakrah, Qatar Cup
champions.
