The Bahrain Gaelic Games 2024 are set to bring a day of Gaelic football to the heart of Bahrain this weekend.

The Arabian Celts GAA Club will be hosting this annual tournament on Saturday, November 9th, at Bahrain Rugby Football Club in Saar. The games begin at 08:00am and continue non stop through the day, culminating in a lively evening filled with live music after the final matches.

This year’s tournament is a landmark event, attracting around 50 teams from across the GCC, a testament to the growing love for Gaelic football in the region. Among the competing teams, Bahrain’s own Arabian Celts will field five teams across various divisions, showcasing the local GAA community. With mens and ladies teams competing in senior, intermediate, and social categories, welcoming both seasoned athletes and newer players to celebrate the sport.

The event is not only about competition but also about building connections across cultures. The games provide a platform for teams from different countries to come together, exchanging stories and experiences that strengthen the GCC’s Gaelic football community.
