Barrelhouse Rugby Club, founded in 1982 by expats in the UAE, boasts a diverse membership with players from around the globe proudly wearing the iconic pink jersey. The club is renowned for its vibrant social scene, spirited fun, and competitive rugby environment.

Barrelhouse RFC currently play competitive rugby in UAE Division 1, Division 2 as well as Super Vets competitions.

Barrelhouse Rugby Club History

Based in Dubai, Barrelhouse Rugby Club have a proud and rich history of welcoming players from all walks of life into their club family. Founded in 1982 by exoat Andy Jackson, Barrelhouse RFC pride themselves on providing a family, fun and friendly environment, designed to bridge the gap for expats missing their loved ones.

The club has evolved significantly over the years. In the past decade, Barrelhouse has expanded to compete in all facets of UAE Rugby, including the UAE Division 1, UAE Division 2, UAE Supervets and are active participants in many of the local tournaments held throughout the year. They now have four rugby teams taking part in the annual Dubai Rugby 7s tournament and a growing mini/junior rugby section which was launched in 2017 and now has over 180 junior players between U7 – U14 years of age.

Every year since 2016, they tour globally, entering men’s and vet’s sides into tournaments in Europe, Asia, Africa and around the world.
