Hurricanes Rugby Club

The Dubai Hurricanes rugby club, founded in the autumn of 1999, began as a senior rugby team and social club, organising friendly matches and participating in 7s and 10s tournaments across the Gulf and Asia. Over the years, the club has expanded its offerings to include netball and cricket, thanks to the dedication of volunteers and a commitment to community values. Today, it stands as a ‘family away from home’ for over 1,300 members, providing a competitive and enjoyable sporting environment within a family-centered community.

The Hurricanes prioritise respect across all levels—from players and coaches to referees and parents—making it a cornerstone of the club’s culture. Success is celebrated at every level, from individual progress to team triumphs, with a focus on creating lasting memories through sport.
