Qais Al-Dhalai voted as new Asia Rugby President
Ex-secretary General of the UAE Rugby Federation – Qais Al Dhalai, has been voted as the new Asia Rugby President succeeding Aga Hussain.
In the EXCO and Council meeting held in Bali – Indonesia, on 16th November, the new EXCO was voted for by Asia Rugbyโs Members.
Dhalai on his candidate submission said:
“The strength of my ties and presence among fellow Asian member unions, local sports governing bodies and the continental regional rugby unions is leading my way forward to the Asia Rugby Presidency, a vision I have set for Asia Rugby to lead with impact through robust governance and high standards of performance in line with World Rugby and Asia Rugby’s strategic plans which is to reposition the Asia member unions on the global rugby map.”
